Two-factor authentication

On by default for any sensitive action like payout-account changes. Optional for routine login.

We use phone-based OTP as a second factor for sensitive actions — bank account changes, withdrawals, and certain dashboard updates. These are always protected and you can't disable them.

For routine login, two-factor is optional. You can enable it from Profile → Security. We recommend turning it on for accounts with significant active investments.

We don't use SMS-based 2FA for routine login because SMS delivery in India is unreliable enough that it would generate more lockouts than security gains. The same phone number is used for the OTPs that always run on sensitive actions, so you're protected there.
