Ten years across operations and customer support at a large Indian fintech before joining as co-founder. Runs the KYC desk, payment ops, and customer success.
Believes the difference between a good platform and a bad one is who picks up the phone at 9 PM on a Saturday. So she rotates onto the phones with the team most weekends.
The team
Lawyer by training, surveyor by accident. Sanjay leads the diligence team that signs off every property before it goes live. If a plot doesn't pass his checklist, it doesn't get listed — and he's killed more potential listings than he's approved.
Built and shipped customer-facing platforms at two earlier startups before joining Paylap. Writes the audit log code that even the operations team can't edit, and has strong opinions about logging.
CA with eight years across audit and corporate finance. Reconciles the investor ledger weekly and signs off on every disbursement. Will not let a payout out the door until the paperwork is squared.
